二寮有著全臺灣最低海拔的美麗日出斜射光與白堊地形上的竹林雲霧交會，形成如潑墨國畫般的絕美景象。梅雨季節過後進入夏季型態的雨後天氣隔日就是二寮日出大景的季節，這時段的每天清晨2:00~7:00間，只要晴朗，二寮很難是空無一人的。
二寮日出的迷人之處就是你永遠不知道她今天會以何種姿態出現，有時光芒萬丈有時又霧裡透亮。
